Armed Robbery at Pizza Store in Whitby


Investigators are looking for two male suspects in an armed robbery of a pizza store in Whitby this morning.

On Monday, January 10, 2021, at approximately 1:00 a.m., members of Central West Division were called to the Pizza Pizza store on Rossland Road and Anderson Street for a commercial robbery. The suspects entered the store and made a demand for cash. One suspect was armed with a handgun. The suspects fled from the store with cash and drove off northbound on Anderson Street in a black vehicle.

The victim did not receive any physical injuries. Officers searched the area, with negative results.

The suspects are described as:

Suspect #1 – male, Black, 25-30 years of age. He was wearing all black clothing, black hat and a mask.

Suspect #2 – male, Black, braided hair. He wore all black clothing and had glasses.
