Male Arrested After Robbing an Oshawa Restaurant


A 43-year-old male was arrested after he robbed a Subway in Oshawa.

On Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at approximately 9:50 a.m., a lone masked male entered a Subway on Bloor Street East in Oshawa. The male went behind the counter and approached an employee, while brandishing a knife. The male fled the scene on foot with a quantity of cash.

Members from Central East Division responded and began to investigate. Officers were able to locate and arrest the suspect.

Robert BICKLE, age 43 from Waverly Street North in Oshawa, has been charged with: Robbery, Disguise with Intent, Possession of Weapons Dangerous and Mischief Under.
