A 41-year-old man was taken to hospital after being stabbed in Oshawa early Friday morning.
On Friday, October 8, 2021, at approximately 3:05 a.m., members from Central East Division were called to the area of Simcoe Street South and Olive Avenue for the report of a male who had been stabbed. Officers arrived and located the victim who was suffering from injuries to his leg as a result of being stabbed. The victim was approached by an unknown male and stabbed. The male suspect then fled on foot.
The victim suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The suspect is described as male, white, wearing a black jacket with fur on it.
