Missing Female from Pickering


Police are searching for a missing vulnerable 59-year-old female from Pickering.

Tawnya WILSON was last seen on August 3, 2021 at approximately 1:00 to 1:30 p.m. leaving her residence in Pickering. She has early-onset dementia and there are concerns for her well-being.

WILSON is described as female, white, 5’1″ tall with a medium to large build, grey hair possibly in a ponytail, wearing a matching pink short-sleeve shirt and capris, closed purple walking shoes and carrying a large black Guess purse.

Anyone with new information about her whereabouts is asked to contact their local police service. In Durham Region, please contact the DRPS at 1-888-579-1520. The lead investigator is D/Cst D’Andrea of the West Division Criminal Investigation Bureau at ext. 2526.
