Stabbing at Ajax Bar Sends One to Hospital


A 26-year-old man was stabbed outside an Ajax bar after an altercation on Saturday morning.

On Saturday, August 21, 2021, at approximately 2 a.m., members from West Division were called to Hardy Johns on Bayly Street for a disturbance call. Police located one male with a head injury after being struck by a bottle. A second victim, a 26-year-old male was driven by a friend to a local hospital with a stab wound. It’s believed that there was an altercation at the premise which resulted in the victim being stabbed.

There is no suspect descriptors at this time, due to the limited information from witnesses and this investigation is ongoing.
