A 15-year-old Oshawa teen was stabbed after an altercation in Oshawa on Wednesday afternoon.
On Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at approximately 12:30 p.m., members of Central East Division were called to Easton Park near Harmony Road South at Adelaide Avenue East for reports of a stabbing. Officers arrived and located a male victim suffering from serious but non-life threatening injuries. He was taken to a Toronto-area trauma centre. The suspect fled on foot.
Police searched the immediate area causing several schools to be put into a Hold and Secure. A young person was arrested later in the day.
A 15-year-old male of Oshawa was charged with Aggravated Assault and Weapons Dangerous. He was held for a bail hearing.
The investigation is on-going.
