Teenager Injured in Collision in Clarington


A 19-year-old female was injured in a serious collision involving two vehicles in Clarington Tuesday afternoon.

On Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at approximately 2:55 p.m., members of East Division were called to Bowmanville Avenue and Clarington Concession Road 7, for a two-vehicle collision. One of the drivers, a 19-year-old female who was operating a black Volkswagen Passat was transported from the scene by paramedics to a Toronto-area trauma centre with serious injuries. The driver of a white GMC pick-up truck was not injured in the collision.

Members of the DRPS Collision Investigation Unit attended the scene to conduct an investigation. The roads in the area were closed for several hours while evidence was collected.
