Two Males Charged after Stabbing in Oshawa


Two males have been charged after a stabbing incident in Oshawa on Saturday evening.

On Saturday, October, 2, 2021, at approximately 8:50 p.m., members from Central East Division were called to the area of Adelaide Avenue West and Park Road North. A male and female were exiting their vehicle when two males confronted them and attempted to taser them. The suspects were unsuccessful and then proceeded to spray the male and female with bear spray. One of the suspects was stabbed by the male victim during the altercation. The two suspects fled on foot. Police located one of the suspects at a local hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries as a result of a stab wound.

The suspect, a 27-year-old male of Clarington was charged with: Assault with a Weapon x2. He was held for a bail hearing.

The male victim, a 32-year-old male of Oshawa was also charged with: Assault with a Weapon, Assault Cause Bodily Harm and Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to Public Peace. He was released on an Undertaking.
