A 40-year-old Whitby male is facing charges after he used a fraudulent credit card to obtain more than $350,000 in merchandise.
From May to September, 2021, a business credit card was used to make fraudulent purchases using online marketplaces. Investigators were able to locate the suspect and executed a search warrant at a Whitby residence on November 3, 2021. The suspect was arrested and merchandise was seized.
Ryan SINGH , age 40, of Gartshore Drive in Whitby, has been charged with: Fraud Over $5,000; Possession of Property Obtained by Crime; and Unauthorized Use of Credit Card Data.
