The Future Generals Hockey Camp announces Zachary Paputsakis, Lleyton Moore, David Jesus will be joining Brett Harrison, Ryan Gagnier, and Ty Tullio as coaches at this year’s camp. The Future Generals Hockey Camp is being held on August 23rd -27th at the Tribute Communities Centre.
In 32 games during the 2019-2020 season, Paputsakis finished with a record of 11-8-2-3 and a save percentage just shy of .900. His first career shutout came during a nationally televised game on November 24th against the Sudbury Wolves. During his long offseason, Paputsakis continued to work on his game back home in Ottawa and continues to use things learned from both goalie coach Paul Gibson and former teammate Jordan Kooy.
David Jesus had a defensively successful rookie. In 61 games, he scored two goals and added nine assists. As part of his extended offseason, Jesus joined Ty Tullio and former General Allan McShane in Slovakia, to play on Liptovsky Mikulas in the top Slovak men’s league. In 20 games with the team, Jesus scored two goals and three assists.
In 57 games during the 2019-2020 season, Lleyton Moore scored six goals and added 22 assists from the backend, including two powerplay goals. Moore is quickly becoming known as one of the fastest defencemen in the entire OHL with a nice offensive upside to his game.
The Future Generals Hockey Camp is open to players of all skill levels, aged seven to thirteen, where they are given the unique opportunity to develop their skills both on and off the ice with Oshawa Generals players and members of the coaching staff.
Stay tuned to the website of the Oshawa Generals and all social media accounts throughout the next few days as we announce additional coaches to the Future Generals Hockey Camp.
