Generals Host Spitfires in Final Preseason Home Game

The Oshawa Generals are set to play their final home game of the preseason tonight against the Windsor Spitfires.

The Generals are currently 2-2 on the preseason after going 1-1 against both the Hamilton Bulldogs and the Niagara IceDogs.

The Windsor Spitfires are also 2-2 in the preseason thus far as they have won and lost one game against both Hamilton and Sarnia.

Oshawa will be getting a boost to their lineup tonight as they will see multiple players returning from NHL camps, where they have spent the past few weeks developing their game.

One of which is captain Ty Tullio, who will be returning after spending time at Edmonton Oilers camp with players such as Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl.

Defenceman Thomas Stewart is also set to make his Generals debut tonight after being acquired earlier today from the Barrie Colts in exchange for goaltender Matthew Sbrocca.

This will be the only time the Spitfires will be in town this season due to no cross-division play to reduce travel within the league.

Puck drop tonight is scheduled for 7:35 pm, as the Generals look to build some positive momentum before next Friday’s season opener against the Hamilton Bulldogs.
