The City has proclaimed September 30 as the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation in Oshawa to recognize and commemorate the legacy of residential schools in Canada.
On Thursday, September 30, the following City services will be impacted by National Day for Truth and Reconciliation:
- Service Oshawa and City Hall will be closed;
- Recreation facilities remain open by appointment only.
- There will be no changes to waste collection service. Waste collection during the week of September 27 will occur on your regularly scheduled collection day.
