The Ontario Tech women’s hockey team is adding another forward to the young rotation with the addition of Milana Perri.
“I chose Ontario Tech University because I knew it was the right fit for my aspirations,” said Perri who is from Sault St. Marie, Ont. “The smaller campus and community made it feel like home. I look forward to being a part of the reputable program I have chosen and playing hockey at the next level. I’m excited to get started as a Ridgeback.”
Perri is enrolling in health science at Ontario Tech and played for the Kitchener-Waterloo Rangers of the U22 division of the Ontario Women’s Hockey League (OWHL) during the 2021-22 season. The season before, in 2019-20, she played for the Kitchener-Waterloo Jr. Rangers.
“Milana is a speedy forward who pushes the tempo when she’s on the ice. She handles the puck well and can read the play at both ends of the rink,” said women’s hockey head coach Justin Caruana. “I look forward to working with Milana in the fall and watching her grow.”
