Ridgebacks split weekend after lopsided loss to Gaels

OSHAWA, Ont. – Despite a win on the road over the Queen’s Gaels a week ago, the Ontario Tech men’s hockey team struggled against Queen’s Sunday afternoon at home, falling 5-1. 

The Gaels scored five goals before the Ridgebacks found the back of the net, including a hat-trick by Joshua Curtis.

Cameron Hough (Uxbridge, Ont.) scored the lone Ontario Tech goal 17:05 into the third on the power play. 
 


Michael Bullion (Anchorage, Alaska) made 27 saves for the Ridgebacks in the loss, while Luke Richardson made 19 in the loss. 

Thursday night Ontario Tech heads to Kingston to face the RMC Paladins before wrapping their final game of the semester at home on Saturday night against the Queen’s Gaels.
