Pickering, ON, April 26, 2023 – Community Engagement Opportunity

The City of Pickering, Community Services Department, is looking to expand program offerings at the Dr. Nelson F. Tomlinson Community Centre, in Claremont. The City is inviting all Claremont residents and business owners to attend one of two sessions to provide feedback and have your say.

Join City staff on Wednesday, May 17 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm or 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm to discuss the possibilities. These sessions are drop in, so there is no need to register in advance, and both will take place at 4940 Old Brock Road, the site of the Community Centre in Claremont.

Take some time to discuss many new programs and services. Bring your creativity to the table, and help us build some new exciting recreation opportunities for the whole family to participate in. We are looking to bring activity to the Dr. Nelson F. Tomlinson Community Centre – preschool to seniors, including our amazing Free Teen Stuff programming, for 13-19 years. We are also looking for instructors to teach and supervise programs, so bring your talent!

If you are not able to join us, please go to letstalkpickering.ca/recreation to provide feedback and discuss options for the space.
