Pickering, ON, August 10, 2021 – Free Mobile Skate Park Pop-Ups continue in August!

The City of Pickering has launched an exciting new initiative that seeks to ensure the lives of Pickering Residents are enriched by programs and services that support active and engaging activities in our community.

The City of Pickering has developed a Free Mobile Skate Park with support from the Jumpstart Sport Relief Fund. The City of Pickering is one of 668 sport and recreation organizations across the country to be provided with grant support, receiving $15,000 to assist with strategies to return to sport and recreation programming. We are grateful to Jumpstart and thrilled to offer this opportunity to our community.

The Mobile Skate Park will be available for Pickering residents ages 6+ to attend Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at various locations and times throughout Pickering. Those attending will be required to bring their own Skateboard and protective equipment. Participants will be required to sign a waiver and screener before participating. Those under 16 will require a parent/guardian signature on the waiver.  Participation will be on a first come first serve basis, no registration is required.
