Pickering, ON, August 11, 2023 – Steadily increasing Summer Concert attendance reaches record high with Latin band Los Garcias
The City of Pickering Summer Concert Series presented by Geranium Homes’ Clarehaven Estates, had a record turnout of 900 people during a recent Thursday evening concert, on August 3, held in Millennium Square. Family-band Los Garcias had residents dancing and moving all night long to a wide variety of Latin hits. Plenty of walkers, bikers, swimmers, and Nautical Village visitors also stopped to enjoy the music.
Los Garcias performs cumbia, salsa, merengue and english mambo. They are comprised of family members, originally from Mexico. This band is one of the latest of many exceptional performers to grace Pickering’s two Summer Concert stages. Fortunately, there are still plenty of Summer Concerts left this season.
