Pickering, ON, January 10, 2022 – Virtual Programs are BACK!
The City of Pickering is excited to launch a new series of virtual programs that seek to ensure the lives of Pickering Residents are enriched by services that support active and engaging activities in our community. The City of Pickering will continue to explore opportunities that build more inclusive and accessible programs for residents throughout this pandemic.
In light of the recent announcement, Recreation Services is transitioning in person programs to virtual. We are offering residents the chance to continue participating in their favourite recreation program, from the safety of their own home. A variety of programs such as preschool, dance, art, fitness and language will be offered virtually through the Zoom platform with options available for all age groups to participate in.
To reserve a spot in any of the virtual programs, please visit pickering.ca/active. Registered participants will receive the program link and any additional information prior to the start of the class.
We look forward to seeing you over Zoom in one of many Virtual Programs. Follow us on Facebook at RecreationPickering or check out our website pickering.ca for more information on programs and activities happening in Pickering.
