The exciting sport of 3×3 is making waves this summer as it has officially been included as an Olympic sporting event at the Tokyo Games.

To experience 3×3 basketball yourselves, get ready for the Ontario Basketball 2021 3×3 Tournament that tips off at Athlete Institute in Mono on Saturday, August 21st.

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN

And in case you’ve never heard of 3×3… here’s your introduction.

So, basically it’s just like regular 5-on-5 basketball… except totally different. There’s a different set of rules and strategy in play that make it a whole new ball game.

Just listen to Ontario Basketball alumnus Alex Johnson who represented Canada at the FIBA 3×3 Men’s qualifiers. OBA caught up with “Superman” Johnson soon after he returned from the qualifying event.
